ABOUT THE EVENT
We have been going through distress and have been confined to our spaces for the last six months. The lockdowns and Covid have taken a toll on all of us.
Covid has not gone, but we now move to the “Next Normal”. We wish to celebrate this “Next Normal” in our spaces at Triveni.
We plan to open our Art Pilgrim-I with a sculpture show. We will be exhibiting three stalwart sculptors of the Indian Sculpture scene.
Biman B Das is a Padmashri awardee, and an ex-principal of the Govt. College of art, Kolkata, Dhananjay Singh is on the Hurun list of top 50 Indian artists, and Parmod K Mann is a sculptor who works with stone as a medium. His raw and absolute talent does not go unseen and unnoticed in his sculptures and he can actually make the stone speak in his forms and faces.
In Art Pilgrim-II we will be displaying the works of emerging artists who are making a mark and establishing as the next Gen artists. The works displayed will include Bikash Poddar, O.P Parameswaran, Paresh Maity, Ranajit Sinha, Shiv Lal Saroha, Shabir Hussain Santosh to name a few.
And finally we would like to celebrate the “Next Normal” at the Shridharani Gallery with works of Indian masters, who don’t need any introductions.
We will be displaying works of Akbar Padamsee, F. N. Souza, G. R. Santosh, Krishen Khanna, Ram Kumar, Satish Gujral, and T. Vaikuntam amongst others.
