Datta Bansode was born in 1969 at Latur in Maharahstra. He completed G.D. Art (Painting) from the College of Arts, Pune. Between 1992-94 he pursued DIP.A.Ed. from Sir. J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai. He presented solo shows and participated in many group shows.  Popular in the Indian art scene for his Buddha paintings, the artist breathed his last in 2017.
