Pramod Ganpatye


Born on 1953. Pramod Ganpatye completed his diploma in Fine Arts from Bhopal. He did post-graduation in Ancient History, Culture and Archeology from Vickram University in Ujjain. He also did Masters in Muceology from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University in Baroda. He acted as a Keeper Arts at the Rashtrapati Bhavan during 1991 to 1997. He was also a research associate at the National Museum. There the artist studied an assortment of about 20,000 of choicest miniatures from Jain manuscripts and imperial Mughal miniatures to those of Rajasthan and Himalayan foothills. He has also worked as guide-lecturer in Delhi at the Crafts Museum. Pramod Ganpatye has a good command over line and playing with colors.
