This exhibition draws on the overlap between the perception and intuition of some of our most sensitive painters like G. R. Santosh, F N Souza, Ram Kumar, Bimal Dasgupta, Krishen Khanna, Shanti Dave, Laxma Goud, T. Vaikuntam and Vinod Sharma; as well as emerging artists like Shabir Hussain Santosh, Gurudas Shenoy, Ramesh Gorjala, Hemraj, Shiv Lal, Bikash Poddar and Devidas Dharmdhikari. Among the sculptors we have Biman B Das, Parmod Mann, Dhananjay Singh, Tutu Pattnaik, DVS Krishna, and K. R. Nariman. The quality they share in these works is the space between the impact of reality on an artist and the evolution of it in the forms, colours and textures that emerge in the finished canvases and sculptures covering the space both of beauty and art.
