Exploring Colours
Colours are the soul of an art work. In a country as diverse and culturally vibrant as ours, colour is perhaps the common simple expression of feeling that holds together our different perspectives, life styles and traditions.
This exhibition brought together artists from different regions, who have made use of colours to explore pictorial presence and emotions. The sculptures in this exhibition were representative of modernists who use metal with a patina in their artworks and sculptors who use traditional Indian techniques.
